Gilded Romance Valentine’s Shoot
I know I’ve said it before, but I’m constantly amazed by how a touch of gold will transform a look. In the case of this styled shoot from Natalie Spencer Photography and Darling & Daisy, some gold paint on feathered Cupid’s wings and some cookies with a touch of our favorite metallic bring everything together and complete a perfect theme — “Kissed by Cupid.”
From the designers, Darling & Daisy: Our Kissed by Cupid Styled Dessert Buffet was inspired by our love of gold, romance and delicious treats. Everything from our love struck backdrop details, homemade sweets, and birch display accents were DIY creations. From gilded Oreos and feathers, to ethereal handmade wings, this buffet is our interpretation of a one of a kind Valentine’s Day celebration.
Our bride was adorned with a dreamy floral halo, dainty gold jewels, a vintage fur shall and ruffled skirt for the occasion. The soft florals and pink ombre cake added a hint of Valentine’s romance.
For this shoot we also wanted to incorporate the wintery feel of a crisp, snow filled Valentine’s Day. The faux fur shawl and birch display stands add a little warmth and charm. Overall we wanted to capture the magic and romance of being love struck this Valentine’s Day.
