Yasmine and John didn’t miss a beat as they worked with the mossy greens and lakeside glimmers that played host to their outdoor nuptials, and we are loving what’s on display. You can expect garnet fabrics, whimsical patterns, jaw-dropping signage and the cutest little getaway car we ever did see, so take a seat, sip some sweet tea and stay a while. You’re in Southern charm territory now!

From the bride, Yasmine: Although we had met many years before (John prefers I don’t go into details because he feels old, lol) we reconnected on Facebook when John was stalking me (John will differ in this) and saw I was on a family trip in Lebanon. Here I was thinking he was being all sly and trying to pick me up asking me how the country was and that he would love to visit because his paternal grandmother is Lebanese (his last names are Hernandez Vazquez, I take it you may see where my doubts come from) which of course I thought was a total pick up line. We chatted for some time during my vacation and he asked me out when I returned to “pick my brain about Lebanon”. After a few more dates, he proceeded to actually show me her Lebanese passport after numerously making fun of him.

I wanted a chic, bohemian style, I love color and wanted it to complement the beautiful greenery of the Avenue of Oaks which was our ceremony site and around the house and lake. We made sure to incorporate details that were close to our hearts and meant something to us throughout the wedding day and that when our guests saw them would know they were important to us.
