Lyrical Wedding Inspiration Drawing From the South of France
When Lowcountry meets Provence, garden romance happens. There’s nothing quotidian about today’s lyrical wedding inspiration, yet an air of tranquility still besets each frame. From the sheet music decor accents to the fine art paper goods + cloth flags saying au revoir, you are sure to be charmed by these floral-infused wedding ideas to follow. Once you fall under this pastel spell, there’s no turning back!
From the photographer, The Happy Bloom : Notes d’Amour. Love notes. Our bride – a dancer – grew up in the South of France while her groom – a musician – was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. Two very different cultures, merged into one – mixing the old, the new, Southern American and Southern France. Introducing a music element was key to this inspiration shoot. This element rooted the shoot in a state of nostalgia and wanderlust – our main aesthetics we wanted to depict. Keeping in line with a nostalgic haze – Tessa Pinner created the most beautiful watercolor cake that feels like a fields of flowers in a dream. Having an oil painting of yourself is not the norm in modern culture but Ben Keys took that concept and elevated it by painting the couple outdoors, on the bend of a beautiful river surrounded by pastel flora and fauna. The scene looks like a still out of French romance novel.
