Retro Camping Inspired Wedding
As soon as I hear there’s a bride with blue hair, I get a little skip in my step. Add to that an equally stylish wedding party in this styled shoot from Kelsea Holder Photography and The Queen’s Bees, and how could you possibly go wrong? The flowers from eden floral slo are a peachy pink and yellow dream come true, tied together with long cascading ribbons and arranged in a way that’s just as fun and unique as the bride herself.
From Jennifer Hix of The Queens Bees: I really wanted to do something different and have it about not just the bride and groom but the family and friends around them. I really look at weddings as a celebration of not just a union between two people, but really a marriage of family and friends, the people who shaped, encouraged, and challenged you to help make you the person you are. I wanted it be a love letter back to the loved ones and a true celebration of all. And with creativity sparking left and right, it became the “Something Blue” shoot.
It started with wanting to take a bride with bright kinda funky hair and blend quirk with romanticism and old wedding tradition. From retro table settings, beautiful vintage handkerchief invitations, to the incredible vintage cars. We even wanted to nod at the origin of bridesmaids dresses and have them all in similar but different dresses from the bride. There were so many amazing helping hands to make it so special, I hope you enjoy the photos and what transpired that day as much as we do.
