Plum Winter Wedding Inspiration
As the days get chillier and chillier, we’ve got this cozy styled shoot from Casey Hendrickson Photography and Chelish Moore Flowers to warm us right up. This shoot has a bit of everything, from lush floral arrangements to warm winter drinks to an absolutely show-stopping wedding cake decorated with the poetry of ee cummings. It’s an absolutely perfect woodland scene with just enough bright colors to keep things feminine and cheery.
From the photographer, Casey Hendrickson: With winter starting, I wanted to capture a love filled with beautiful natural and warming details. The colors I chose were gold, plum, with pinks added in. We used classic vintage china with these colors along with plum napkins folded in. I topped the table with a lamb skin along with antlers as well as gold painted pinecones for a natural approach as well as natural wood table and antique chairs.
Our bride stayed warm with a gorgeous mink shrug and of course the arms of her groom! The signature drink was Irish cream coffee set up with a coffee bar, and had all the fixings for whatever you desire to add. The cake is one of my favorite parts though! Ines styled the plum cake with E. E. Cummings’s poem, “I carry your heart”, written in gold along the cake, and topped with the same florals and natural elements featured on the table.
