Vintage Seaside Wedding

Andy and Mercedes’ wedding is nothing short of stunning, and these photos from Matthew Morgan prove it. It took place at an old farm down a quaint country road – near the seaside, no less! From the short wedding dress to the antique frames hanging behind the altar, I have nothing but love for this wedding!

From the gorgeous bride, Mercedes:
I found my sweet off white little wedding dress at Macy’s on sale for $60, my mom added lace, sleeves, and a petticoat to add a vintage twist on the dress. My Veil was an early 50′s off white box hat (I think that’s what they’re called?) My friend added the lace veil in front. My shoes were Steve Madden sparkly flats, that added a perfect girly touch.

Finding bridesmaids dresses… Wow was that an episode! I had supermodel tall girls, petite tiny girls, and an 8 months pregnant girl. But I was determined to have adorable fashionable dresses. It worked out, half wore tight fitted, sweetheart cut, tweed dresses. The other half wore beige baby doll dresses with tiny burnt orange polka dots. To tie them all together they wore the same shoes as well as hair accessory and ribbon belts made by a wonderful girlfriend of mine. All dresses were from Anthro.

Do you know where I could find some suspenders like that? Any ideas, send ‘em my way to megans.harrod@gmail.com. I am getting married in October and need to find suspenders.
