Neon Wedding Inspiration
Something about neon just makes me SO happy — the bright colors never fail to add an extra oomph to my day. Event planner extraordinaire Camden Chitwood of Emerson Events tempered the bright colors with neutral shades, with the help of photographer Amanda Watson on hand to to do each of the handcrafted details justice. All lovely rentals were from Paper Lion and petal tablecloth from Marianne’s Rentals, and delish cake by Madison’s on Main.

Love everything about this – & I’m typically not one for neon! The table cloth, place settings, and DIY pom poms are complimentary to the neutrals. Great work!
Love all the bright color combinations. Perfect for summer weddings.
LOVE! Love the little yellow belt the bride is wearing, and the dipped silverware!
Thanks for sharing, this is excellent. How do you keep each tassel from sliding down the string?
Hi Kate,
Thank you, it was such a fun shoot! The jute twine doesn’t slip much so I just hung the garland and spaced out the tassels and they stayed, no problem. But I thought about when making it and you could always tie a small knot in the main garland twine to hold the spacing for the tassels. Hope that helps!
How did you make the neon candle holders? I’ve done the frosting of the glass with rubberbands, but have not seen the color used. Did you just use paint over the rubberbands? Thank you!
I love the dipped silverware and the chair backs! The texture in that tablecloth also adds so much!
4 neon colours together in the same shoot is a bold statement to make!
Certainly refreshing. Vibrant yellow is a personal favourite.
I love the paper pom pom at he wall. Where can I get one?
Love this look…fresh, bright and fun!
