Grey and Pink Valentine’s Day Shoot
Give me some light pink, grey, and pops of metallic and I’m going to be a happy girl. When you throw the aesthetics of Vitalic Photo and Cute & Co. and a ethereal gown by Ivy & Aster into the mix, I know it’s going to be complete infatuation. If this doesn’t get you in the mood for Valentine’s Day, I don’t know what will!
From the photographer, Vitalic Photo: When planning this editorial shoot in our minds we envisioned three words — clean, sparkly and sweet. We’ve been loving the mercury glass details popping up and thought the sparkle of the sequin overlay in a light lofty setting was a little different than the norm. We wanted to keep the florals neutral and sweet and incorporated a bit of modern with the cakes and invitations. Our bride wore one of the most lovely gowns from Ivy & Aster — we adored the oversized bow and sweetheart top.

Loved helping to plan this editorial shoot — who doesn’t love a glittery tablescape??
I love everything about this! Pinning away 🙂
I love the rings on the cookies and the hanging hearts… So cute!!!
We spot so many cool wedding trends here for 2013: glitter (still!), geometrics, and grey (gorgeous with pinks, yellows, red). Fabulous shoot!
Blush pinks and glitter my favourite! Looks gorgeous guys!
Adore this wedding in the pastel pinks and grey greens…truly magical.
The subtle touches of pink are beautiful. The pales colors accentuate the bride and groom’s sparkle.
This shoot is beyond stunning! I love the glitter and soft pastels with the little heart details!
The photographer did an excellent job on these photos. The color palette for the wedding day really is an amazing way to evoke romantic feelings for people who are not yet in the mood for Valentine’s Day. I think the grey and pink theme is a brilliant trend for this year.
Some Valentine’s Day weddings are so over the top, but this one is perfect!! I just love the pink and grey color palette. The flowers were absolutely stunning!!
any idea how many yards those sequin toppers were? Im going for this look but in a black and gold!
@Caroline — We used 2 yards of the silver sequin fabric! It’s a 48″ table. : )
You guys are so smart! Love this beautiful shoot!!
@nicki- was this the sequin seawood silver fabric on fabric empire? Thank so much!
@mccall — Yes that’s it!
Hi, where can I find those gorgeous invitations? I clicked on the credit link from the blog post, but it just goes to a photography site – I don’t see any link specific to the invitations. I would love to find out where to get these!! Can you help?
