Aqua and Sunflower Wedding
This wedding, sent over to us by the fantastic Adrienne Gunde, has a theme that’s right up our alley: darling birdhouses. Bride Jenny picked the perfect color scheme to match with her theme, mint and yellow, and decked the bridal party out with sunflower bouquets that have completely stolen our hearts.
From the bride, Jenny: For our wedding, we wanted something whimsical and mostly DIY. We wanted to incorporate different fabric patterns while staying in the color scheme. The theme was “love birds,” but more focused on birdhouses. Color scheme was a range in the mint and yellow categories. We painted the birdhouses, made bunting banners, designed the invitations, made wave-able flags, and sewn all the favors.
Any advice for brides planning their weddings now? Just enjoy it. It’s stressful, but it’s all worth it when you see your vision come to life.
