Ace Hotel Palm Springs Wedding

If you ask me, Palm Springs weddings are the new standard in cool. The Melideos sent us this wedding straight from The Ace Hotel, a destination we’re just crazy about. Bride Cindy planned her big day full of watercolors, pops of coral and plenty of succulents to make us fall in love.

From the bride, Cindy: We wanted our wedding to be a party! We wanted it in a fun, comfortable atmosphere where everyone can stay the weekend and celebrate with us or just make it a day trip from LA. Once we found the ACE Hotel in Palm Springs for our venue everything just came together for us. I wanted the style and feel to represent us, romantic and colorful with some wild and crazy fun!

My color scheme was desert pastels, soft watercolors with a pop of bright coral. Almost everything we did was DIY. I could not have done any of it without my family and friends! The Save The Date’s and Invitations were created, made, and put together by me and my bridesmaids. My maid of honor did all the programs and my sister-in-law did all the artwork. My sister-in-law also did all the decorations at the wedding and really made all my crazy visions come to life! My bridesmaids and I potted all the succulents and cacti and my bridesmaids made the potted succulent seating chart with names and table numbers. My brothers constructed and erected the arbor that we got married under which was beautiful! And a friend did all my flowers, bouquets and boutonnieres.
