Yucatan Inspired Wedding Ideas
Someone stick us on a beach and hand us a margarita. Starting with a color template from the mesmerizingly-colored wedding stationery, the team of vendors for this shoot just let their creative sparks ignite and their hard work most definitely paid off. With a lovely hand-painted table to hold it, Raining Roses Productions brought in the ideal floral centerpieces for this tropical shoot, complete with clusters of driftwood that peek out gingerly among the bright hues. This colorful shoot put together brilliantly by Kristen Weaver Photography is giving us some serious “let’s head to the beach” vibes today.
From the photographer, Kristen Weaver Photography: This shoot was inspired by the heart and soul of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It incorporates lush and bright florals, colorful details, and a slight beachy vibe. Incorporating unique details like a cactus pinata, photo booth, churros, and bridesmaid rompers – we pushed the limits of a typical styled shoot to bring unique concepts to your readers! We absolutely loved how the stationery brought much of our concept together, but we were most excited about the hand-painted table that we created in the studio specifically for this shoot!
We also brought together a myriad of our past clients – the jewelry was hand-designed by KWP Bride Emily, the venue was the private residence of KWP Bride Kristin, and the video team was KWP bride/groom Elaine and Kaleb! This was truly a passion project that we put together for the Watermark Workshop that I host twice a year.
Beach weddings are the perfect place to do away with dresses for your bridesmaids. Since you’re around all of that sand and sun, seek out some ultra-cute rompers for them to walk down the aisle in and party in afterwards.
Be sure to watch the film from the day by KEJ Productions:
Her dress is gorgeous! Loving all the details!
