Weddings For Freedom Campaign
When styled shoots can fuse together great design ideas with an even greater cause, the result is far beyond the realm of inspiring. Paper Antler and Weddings for Freedom recently worked together on a styled shoot that not only shows us beautiful wedding inspiration, but also highlights the realistic threat of the sex trafficking industry. Take a look at Weddings for Freedom‘s website to learn more about their cause and motion to raise both awareness and funds for sex trafficking victims in the United States.
From the photographers, Jonny and Michelle of Paper Antler: Talking about sex trafficking is not easy and it’s often difficult to know where to start. While most people understand it is an issue “over there” it’s far more difficult to acknowledge the fact that it is a growing and rampant problem in the United States.
With that said, the purpose of this photo shoot is to raise awareness about sex trafficking in the United States by showcasing statistics utilizing both traditional and non-traditional wedding details. We incorporated wedding elements such as a bride and groom, tablescapes, an invitation suite, and flowers and then interlaced statistics about modern day slavery in the United States into said elements. Our main color palette was shades of melon and touches of gold and soft greens.
We hope this shoot is not only inspiring in a wedding sense, but on a social justice level as well, and that it encourages wedding vendors and couples across the country to check out Weddings for Freedom to help take a stand against modern day slavery.

Wonderful! I like this photoshoot. This theme wedding arises the knowledge of people against sex slavery. Hopefully all the wedding companies out there will also make such kind of photoshoots to heighten the awareness of people.

Question, though… My sister would love for me to wear this dress in her wedding. Where can we find it?? Thanks!
