Wedding Elegance with Understated Beauty
Every now and again, a styled shoot comes along that renders us speechless. Today’s certainly falls under that category, so bear with us as we try to put into words the perfection of these wedding gowns from Bonita Bridal, the incredible direction and vision of Miss Mooi, and the chic images from Qlix Photography. Of course, we couldn’t possibly forget the breezy floral arrangements from Floretta by Grace, which make good use of the simple but striking color palette of whites and greens.
From the photographer, Qlix Photography: The inspiration behind the shoot was to highlight and showcase that it is still possible to have something stripped back but yet luxe and elegant that it wouldn’t feel underwhelming. Miss Mooi the chief event styling brought forth the simple colours of the details while using the industrial setting of the location to make this possible.
It was easy to overwhelm the shoot with colours and detail but the restraint shown from the stationery to the florals to the name sign was nothing short of industry leading. As a fine arts photographer who shoots with film, this was a project that pushed boundaries as to capturing the vision without losing the colour while keeping to the brightness that is accustomed to Qlix Photography.
