Blended Watercolor Tablescape Inspired by Monet
Three words: Dreamy. Modern. Femme. Today’s charming watercolor tablescape is inspired by the Impressionist artist we all know and love: Monet. Once the painterly backdrop caught our eye, we were hooked. It won’t take you long to ooh and ahh over this tablescape, so get ready for some lush blooms, fine details and pastel everything!
Aren’t these images from Jessica Peterson Photography the most fanciful? She captures every brushtroke and soft petal with gusto (which is a word we all need more of!).
Michelle Leo Events is an artist to say the least, and we’re loving the way she transformed a simple muse into a totally original idea!
Complete with Old world inspired invitation suites from Refine Studio .
Peonies may take center stage, but there’s no shortage of fresh spring blooms in the arrangements from Urban Chateau Floral.
And can we all take a moment of silence to appreciate the splendor of this four-tiered cake from Layers?
How gorge is this custom white wooden table from Mc2 Woodworks too? For a palette this fresh, we wouldn’t have it any other way!
From the stylist, Michelle Leo Events: For this design, I wanted to create something soft and feminine that mimics the romance within a Monet painting. This was a personal exercise for me as I challenged myself to find design inspiration outside of social media. I wasn’t interested in re-creating anything found on Pinterest or in the bridal magazines. And therefore, I turned to one of my favorite artistic mediums seeking inspiration for a classic, timeless look infused with femininity and romance. Monet was the answer.
We’ll be dreaming about these French chic chargers from Casa de Perrin forever, #kthanksbye.
And how bout these vintage cocktail glasses from Refined Vintage Events? Grown up tea party vibes, for sure!
This backdrop from Sarah C. Nightingale is everything! Raise your hand if you wouldn’t mind walls like this in your own abode.
Acrylic candle holders + amber tinted glassware are the cherries on top to tie the final look together. We’ll be rinsing and repeating this style in our own entertaining circles for the rest of summer – won’t you?!
