Vintage Inspired Italian Alps Wedding
Is there any better scenery than the Italian Alps? We think not, which is one major reason we love today’s styled shoot from Darya Kamalova and Bianco Weddings. Another reason? The absolutely breathtaking vintage-inspired gown from Tatyana Kochnova.
From the photographer, Darya Kamalova: The inspiration of this shooting was nature, elegance and the beauty and simplicity of 20s. Simple relaxed hair style and dark burgundy lips suit perfectly the image that we wanted to archive. Dark red wine colour flowers complimented the colour of the model’s lips. We loved so much the invitation set by Peony in dark blue and red palette and moreover the envelope’s inner side was trimmed with velvet that was highlighting even more the mood of 1920s.
The bespoke dress from Tanya Kochnova was just flawless: the silk pale rose lining with a light grey lace on it and hand-embroidered sequins top – a pure perfection in pastel palette. In this way we created a lovely contrast between the outfit and the decor: the dark colours vs. pastel colours. And you can see that they work perfectly together. It is only important to follow the right proportions.
The 2 venues for the shooting were the ancient convent and the top of the mountain in the Italian part of Alps. The heart was stopping to beat while looking down at the valley and at the sun rolling over the hill. To say “breathtaking” is nothing; it was spectacular. It is important to add that despite of the fact that it was a styled shooting, our couple was real and they are getting married soon!
