Tropics & Tulips Summer Wedding Inspiration from South Africa

Inspired by a palm leaf, Mila Photography has captured the essence of a romantic sunset and we’re HERE for this organic beauty.

From the photographer, Mila Photography: My inspiration was a grey palm leaf and I wanted to create a piece of art to be our main focus for the ceremony and reception area. Our theme was organic, artistic with a sunset color theme.

Parrot illustrations, botanical scketches and scalloped envelopes, Design Bar wedding stationery was designed for jaw dropping moments and serious paper goods envy.

Our colors are muted with a pop of bright orange from the beautiful tulips. We created a perspex/acrylic backdrop with dried foliage and flowers to be a work of art. The ceremony area is very simplistic and modern. Our tablescape was also very modern and organic with gorgeous florals, dried greenery and seeds. The mix of a soft runner and dark crockery gives it a romantic but moody look.

We also found these beautiful oyster mushrooms to use on the cake and table. I just love the mix of textures, colours and elements!
