You had us at Europa Village. We cannot imagine a more idyllic setting for the wedding of Morgan and Emery, complete with meandering eucalyptus garlands (thank you Blue Ladder Botany!) and rosemary-adorned favors that mimicked the landscape. Staying true to Italian tradition, Morgan and Emery placed a heavy emphasis on family. Thanks to Simply by Bethaina, every detail had a purpose and every guest was made to feel significant. Lucy of Lucy Munoz Photography captured everything from the intimate ceremony to lush reception, so read on and join in the celebration!

From the bride, Morgan: The vision for our wedding was an intimate weekend-long celebration with our closest friends and family. The first time we went to Europa Village, we immediately fell in love and knew it was the perfect location for our wedding. The venue is picturesque on its own so we were lucky that we didn’t need to do much in terms of decor. Our goal was to keep the details simple and romantic with a Tuscan feel. We wanted everything to be natural and soft looking, nothing stiff or overly done. We kept the color palette neutral with blush, white, and green tones.

We’ve always envisioned ourselves having an outdoor ceremony but when we saw the cave for the first time, we knew we had to get married there. It was such an intimate atmosphere, the energy and love we felt in the room on our wedding day was overwhelming. Our close friend officiated the ceremony for us which made it even more special. For the reception, we dined along the vineyards and chose to decorate with simple garland centerpieces that had pops of blooms throughout. For a personal touch, we picked rosemary from my dad’s backyard and made each guest an olive oil favor to take home with them. Our overall goal was simple: celebrate our marriage with as little stress as possible and throw a great party with amazing food and wine and lots of dancing. The day truly turned out better than we had ever imagined. Many of our guests traveled from out of town so it was very important to spend quality time with our loved ones the entire weekend. The day after the wedding, we wanted to keep the celebration going and hosted a backyard party complete with a taco truck, margaritas and lawn games. It couldn’t have been a more perfect weekend.
