Summer Harvest Wedding Inspiration

It turns out that the nearing end of summer and the quickly approaching arrival of fall can make for some incredibly earthy and unique wedding inspiration, just as KMitiska Photography shows us in this editorial. Taking all of the scrumptious harvest-time goodies, Root + Gather Events pulled in those classic summer brights and wove them through deep fall jewel tones. Fawns Leap ran amok with this palette and made arrangements that perfectly echoed the laid-back, farm chic mood.

From the photographer, KMitiska Photography: This stylized photo shoot was inspired by the spirit and bounty of the summer harvest. Full of life, love, and moody ambiance; these inspiration photos epitomize a refined-rustic, farm to table wedding. From the lush florals interwoven with cabbage and artichoke to the hand painted stationery and farm-fresh dinner selection, every detail was lovingly and expertly crafted to reflect this vision.

The rich color scheme was drawn from the abundance of harvest fruit and vegetables; providing an excellent natural palette of hues as well as textures. This palette was brought into our intimate tablescape through the lush floral designs from Fawn’s Leap, as well as the fresh made food from The Butcher and the Blonde food truck. Adding to this cornucopia of organic textures, Whimsy Design Studio adorned a custom wood palette backdrop with live moss lettering to create a unique and striking ceremony background.

Kimberly the photographer chose Jesse and Megan to be the subjects for this session. They are a couple if you can’t already tell and they got married a few weeks before these images were taken. We really love that you can see their beautiful relationship in these images. Kimberly wanted these images to feel like a real wedding, which is why she included Jesse and Megan getting ready, and even a few photos that acted as a first dance.
