Styled Social Houston: Teal and Persimmon Wedding Ideas Inspired by the Far East
We could get lost forever in the land that inspired these designs for Styled Social Houston. Far Eastern touches are peppered throughout this teal and persimmon dreamscape featuring a vintage wrap wedding dress, painterly brush invites and a cascading petal backdrop that looks straight out of Eat, Pray, Love. Prepare to be totally smitten with the modern take on Far East wedding inspiration in store!
If this gallery from Sarah McKenzie were a word, it would be invigorating. The artistic way she captures light and motion is simply divine, and we’re pretty darn glad she joined us for the day.
These colorful concepts were brought to life by the inimitable floral designer, Mibellarosa, whose drippy petal masterpiece (one of our favorite wedding trends!) and vibrant statement blooms totally stole the show.
We are basically blinded by the light of this dazzling oval halo engagement ring by Melissa Tyson Designs . And we’re not mad about it one bit.
Two Be Wed planned and coordinated all the deets to perfection as she made like Beyonce and directed all of these powerhouse vendors into FORMATION. (It’s no coincidence Queen Bey hails from Houston too, y’all.)
Bella Belle Shoes provided these darling open-toed shoes with embroidered lace detail… and we’re obsessed!
It’s not everyday you see a wedding venue with an open frame chapel – much less one with natural light pouring into the indoor bits! The Meekermark is a statement on its own, and we just adore the way these designs blended seamlessly with the space .
The bride, youthful and innocent, with hair swooped up into a soft half-up, half-down look by Hey Lovely Makeup looks like a total woodland goddess in her heirloom gown from Gossamer.
Meanwhile, the groom struts his stuff in a tailored and debonaire suit from Stitch & Tie. A modern notch lapel and dark blue sheen never looked so suave!
The tabletop decor courtesy of Your Butler’s Pantry quite literally brought texture and depth to the table, while the linen and chairs from Aztec USA are simply electric.
The color block paper suite from Nib and Pixel has us totally shook, who are we kidding? The watercolor accents drip in organized chaos and tbh, this is totally museum worthy.
It’s no {koi}ncidence that this masterpiece from Becca’s Cakes features painted fish friends to symbolize good fortune. Aside from the deep meaning, this cake’s aesthetic is truly worthy of all eyes in the room!
Styled Social Houston is rocking our world. And we’re gearing up for our last 2 of the year where wedding photographers will have the opportunity to shoot a full-scale editorial like this one, produced by us and designed by a team of handpicked local vendors. We’d love to see you there!
