Spring Watercolor Wedding
Such a stunning wedding by Anna Smith Photography! There’s nothing quite like a classic wedding color palette of black and white and keeping the florals fresh with a white-and-green theme. It’s probably one of my most favorite combinations and it gets me every time, especially since I’m reminded of my own wedding day colors! I love how Madison and Chris’s big day worked in such timeless elements with very modern ones like the dapper gentlemen in tuxedos, the traditional church wedding, Madison’s eclectic bridal style (who else loves her short and textured hairdo?), and their gray-hued wedding stationery with that fun pop of orange watercolors. This wedding by Pick Me! Weddings is a great example of when different wedding styles come together so well!
From the photographer, Anna Smith Photography: Madison and Chris were such a joy to spend the day with. I first med Madison during our boudoir session, which rocked by the way. Madison had such a classic, elegant taste for the wedding day and wanted to bring in some of the couple’s cultural heritage. She fell in love with an Israeli wedding dress at a trunk show and never looked back. The dress designer was Inbal Dror and her wedding dress made for a stunning, modern and classic beauty with an open back. With help of Rami Carter from Pick Me Weddings, who traveled all the way from Colorado to style the event – the day turned out to be gorgeous.
The wedding ceremony was held at one of the oldest churches in Waco, First Baptist followed by the reception at the most up-scale Waco venue, The Ridgewood Country club. Large chandeliers and hardwood floors with beautiful lush flowers and colorful up lighting brought the day together. Parchment and Paper stationary designed her invites as well as menu place settings. Each bridesmaid wore a different dress which reflected a Grecian style in light of the groom being Greek. LoveShackFancy & Adrianna Papell were the bridesmaid dress designers. Having a large bridal party of 8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen is just a small reflection of how much love they received on their wedding day.
They wanted this to be a special day, but most of all fun for their guests who traveled from near and far. After dinner was served to the 200 – something guests, the highlight of the night was the gorgeous wedding cake made by the very talented Frosted Art Bakery. This was one of the most delicious cakes I have ever had! The couple’s favorite moment of the night was passing out sunglasses and having a huge dance party. Everyone loved putting these on and joined in on the fun. Overall this was such a gorgeous day and we lucked out with the weather being sunny on the first weekend of March. The sparkler exist was a treat because the exit car belonged to the bride’s grandfather!
Loving the color scheme!! Beautiful
Pick Me! for florals and decor. Thanks for the great write up!
