Southern Wedding with Loads of Bright Colors
A couple who loves color ranks pretty highly on my list of favorite things, and this elegant Southern wedding was all the better for having them. Impeccable styling, plentiful reception lounge areas, and pops of bright spring colors everywhere you look all make up this beautiful day! Virgil Bunao and A Charleston Bride truly shine in this one, folks.
From the wedding planner, A Charleston Bride: Jenny and Ryan were the most amazing clients because they absolutely loved color and were open to any type of floral as long as we had an array of colors! Not to mention Jenny owns a boutique in Greenville, SC so she is has an amazing sense of style. She even provided some of her own pillows from her house! Buttercup yellow was one of Jenny’s favorite colors and I’m not surprised because she is so full of sunshine herself! So we used a mix of buttercup yellow, gold, burnt orange, and fuchsia as the general color palette.
The favors were treats from Dylan’s Candy Bar tied with colorful ribbon – so delish! Jenny’s bouquet had turquoise and orange trailing ribbon and their altar matched her bouquet. One thing important to the groom was his bacon bar! We had gold pigs on a tiered display with bacon mac and cheese, piggy pops, and other pork goodies – perfect for a late night crowd! Jenny and Ryan were whisked away in a golf cart with draping and floral tie backs. Perfect ending to a beautiful, beautiful night!

So often, people are hesitant to experiment with real color. This couple demonstrated just how beautiful it can be. At first glance, the bride’s bouquet alone is breathtaking. Everything was done with class and elegance.
