Slovak Mountain Wedding
Both the bride and groom in today’s wedding are architects – but perhaps you could tell after seeing how much thought and detail went into the wedding day. Peter & Veronika photographed their wedding in the Stupava mountains of Slovakia, which is one dreamy destination if we’ve ever seen one.
From the photographers, Peter & Veronika: Lubka and Martin. She is an architect, he is an architect. Their wedding was perfect, thought out to the last detail. But what else would you expect from two architects? 🙂 The church was beautiful, wonderfully lighted and spacious. And the reception? It was in Stupava mountains, beautiful nature and the place was obviously once again full of light and spacious. It was the intention of architects? Maybe yes, maybe no. But what we know for sure is that the wedding was beautiful, amazing, cheerful, spontaneous, and we felt with them fantastically. Lubka was a gorgeous bride who shone for 100 km and Martin was the happiest man in the whole region.
They say that opposites attract, but we are of the opinion that what is more similar to a partner, the better you understand. If your job becomes a common hobby and vice versa, your common hobby is your job, so you can always understand and support each other. And this is also the case of Lubica and Martin. It might sound like a clichĂ©, but we wish them to build a solid foundation for a common home, family and common life together. And let them come out all they’ll design.

As a fan of your blog and a huge fan of this beautiful country of Slovakia, I’d love to encourage you to change the title. The proper way to say it would be “Slovak Mountain Wedding”. “Slovakian” isn’t a word.
With that said, so beautiful!
Hi Kristin,
Thank you for letting us know! I’ve updated the title to use the correct “Slovak.”
Congratulations to these two awesome architects! May you look forward to many happy years and great building projects!
So pretty! Congrats!
