Contemporary Vineyard Wedding Inspiration With Colorful Sherbert Hues
If there’s one word that comes to mind with today’s contemporary vineyard wedding inspiration, it’s COLOR! Where do we even begin? The dip-dyed ceremony backdrop? The whimsical menus? The punchy blooms? Don’t even get us started on the cozy + stylish solstice tent! We’re pretty confident it would take best picture for the glamping version of the Oscar’s. One quick glance at this rainbow collaboration will have you hooked for life. We’re sure of it!
Kristyn Villars sure knows how to capture the light! If these images don’t tell the story behind the name “Magic Hour,” then we don’t know what will. But we can’t give all the credit to the golden sun – her photography skills are seriously top notch.
Conceptualized and executed by Santa Barbara event designer Spark + Sparkle Events, this scene seems exotic and enchanting all at the same time. We love the mix of colorblocked decor pieces with dip-dyed watercolor. The lines are blurred in a way that makes us fall in love with this modern take on a painterly wedding style more and more every second.
Fuchsia, tangerine, and striking butter yellow melt together in this visually striking invitation suite from Pigment & Parchment. If you think this is good, check out the watercolor menus!
The bride’s naturally wavy hair is tossed artfully into an updo by Wedding Beauty Co. we won’t soon forget.
From Kacey of Spark + Sparkle Events: I love the way each vendor ran with our ideas for this project. SCOUT‘s modern specialty pieces were the perfect neutral and structured backdrop for some insane bridal portraits and perfectly complemented the rustic solstice tents from All About Events. Oyster Ridge has so many incredible photo opportunities, with miles of vineyards and rolling hills surrounding the property. We chose a wooded area overlooking one of the surrounding valleys for the ceremony site, using a copper structure I built specifically for the shoot.
We know you’re wondering who the artist behind these poppy blooms is… Lori Boe Floral Design, ladies and gents. Whipping these roses, ranunculus and billyballs into shape!
Sunset this time of year is hard to beat and any couple would be lucky to have Kristyn Villars shoot them at Oyster Ridge – weddings, engagement or anniversary photos. Even family portraits!
Um, yes, okay… we weren’t expecting to fall in love with these abstract linens from BBJ Linen so fast, yet here we are. Don’t miss the muddy pink velvet runner on table #2!
If this solstice tent from All About Events doesn’t make your heart go wild, then we don’t know what will. This’ll surprise + delight wedding guests all day long.
Her dress from Lulu’s is sleek + sensual with a curvy open back that’s pretty impossible to top.
After sunset, and when event guests would be settling in for dinner, All About Events‘s blank slate white farmhouse tables accented the delicious pop of florals from Lori Boe Floral Design. BBJ‘s specialty linen gave us a bit of romance to soften it all up, and Avenue Twelve‘s white chairs tied in the modern details.
Cake Cathedral whisked together the prettiest three-tiered tower with vibrant brushstrokes and even some gold foil! Totally obsessed with the offcentered layers as well.
There’s no question Oyster Ridge is the perfect backdrop for this scene. With its twisty trees and vineyard views, we are in Heaven from the other side of the screen.
How darling are these colorblocked utensils from SCOUT Rental Co? Gold marries sage green in the most darling of ways, and as if that’s not enough we have skinny taper candle holders and crisp stone votives scattered across this very same table.
We love giving bits of advice to couples who maybe don’t know how to incorporate parts of this shoots’ inspiration into their own event, or accentuate their own style using this shoot as a template. One piece is color! Color brings so much life to photos and can tie events together in an easy way. Choosing one main color, like fuchsia or orange, gives you a lot of options with your florist, linens and clothing. Accentuating an event with neutral furniture and accessories adds interest without overwhelming the chosen color as well.
These modern white chairs from Avenue Twelve are to die for, that’s certain. Well, this whole wedding inspiration is!
