A Magical Wedding in Santorini Under a Canopy of Fairy Lights

Under a canopy of twinkling fairy lights, Julia & Evita have done it again with a magical wedding in Santorini. Kellie & Cameron planned a destination wedding that showcased a breathtaking view of of the ocean and caldera cliffside with 45 of their closest friends a family. White On Black Studio beautifully captured the evening as the sun slowly sank into the ocean allowing the fairy lights to twinkle and the bride’s second outfit glimmered just as brightly.

From the photographer, White On Black Studio: Kellie & Cameron have decided to have their destination wedding on our beautiful island. While working on the styling of their wedding, their most important aspect was to create a magical setting for their guests. A beautiful venue was chosen, with a terrace that overlooks the best our island has to offer; the caldera cliffs combined with an ocean view.

What we loved most of the decorations were the tropical florals the bride had chosen. It’s important to combine the elements of the decoration to a certain extent, as to not overshadow the beauty of the venue, which needs to stay in the spotlight.

If you want to have an intimate dinner setting for your guests, having one long table is the best way to go. That is what Kellie & Cameron wanted for their 45 closest friends and family. We created a fairy light canopy to surround the dinner table to make the magical setting our bride was dreaming of. Our tip for making this set even more romantic – add mirror tops on the table for the lights to reflect on. Once the sun had set, the true magic of our light canopy was seen and exceeded our expectations.
