Luxe Santa Fe Wedding With a Lush Floral Chuppah
Oh. Em. Gee!!! This luxe Santa Fe wedding features a dreamy floral chuppah with lush greenery, and blush & ivory roses by Mark’s Garden. Then you add a crystal chandelier? We’re officially picking our jaws up off the floor thanks to the beautiful design by Details Details. Every detail flows together perfectly from the white carpet that contrasts the greenery in the chuppah to the blush draping tent at the reception. From Etajha with Rayce PR: Held on the grounds of The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe, this naturally pretty setting set the tone. As the sun set, guests were escorted to an incredible ceremony space. On a white carpet, guests took their seats on rose gold chairs. The aisle was lined with lush greenery and ivory roses. Our couple exchanged vows beneath the most incredible Chuppah made of lush greenery, and in florals of blush, mauve and ivory roses. To complete the look, the moment was lit with a crystal chandelier!
Following a beautiful ceremony, guests were invited to continue the celebration in a tented reception! Guests entered the tent through a stunning floral arch. The tent was draped in soft blush draping, and filled with long wooden tables and round tables draped in blush linen. Tables were set with gold textured chargers, crystal glassware, and towering candelabras. Nancy Kaye of Mark’s Garden elevated the tables with a gorgeous display of florals of blush, mauve and ivory!
How did you meet?
From the bride and groom: My husband, David and I met on Jswipe, which is an online dating application similar to tinder that matches Jewish couples.
Did you have a romantic proposal?
Yes! Very Romantic! David planned a sunset picnic in Pacific Beach for us the day before celebrating our two year anniversary of our first date. David brought his guitar with him and played all of our favorite songs. He asked me to take a selfie with him in the sunset and then got down on one knee and proposed! I felt like I was on an episode of The Bachelor! He also hired a photographer to capture the moment, which was unforgettable. David then planned a surprise dinner with my family to celebrate our engagement! I could not have dreamed of a more perfect proposal.
What was your inspiration for your wedding theme/colors?
The wedding was at The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe, which was absolutely beautiful and the setting was the inspiration for the wedding. I wanted a romantic secret garden vibe with gorgeous flowers, candles and greenery everywhere. The colors were cream, blush and pink with a touch of cranberry since the wedding was in November. My bridesmaids all wore either cranberry, blush or pink dresses by BHLDN. The flowers by Mark’s Garden were absolutely beautiful especially the chuppah! I have never seen a chuppah that was
more amazing.
How was the planning process?
I had an amazing wedding planner, Jeannie Savage from Details Details, and my incredible mom who both worked tirelessly together to make my fairytale wedding a dream come true! They were an amazing team and made my wedding everything I could have ever wanted and more. It was so fun to plan my wedding with my mom. There are so many great memories with my mom during the wedding planning process and I am so grateful that my mom was there every step of the way.
Do you have any special or memorable moments from your wedding day you’d like to share:
There are so many special moments from my wedding day, it is hard to choose just a few. When I walked down the aisle with my parents and I saw my husband to be smiling at the chuppah, it filled my whole heart. We each shared our own vows and it was so special to share that moment with all the people we love. Our first dance as bride and groom to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran was a moment I will never forget. David and I were both smiling from ear to ear all night and were so excited to be finally married! We felt like we were both on Cloud 9 and took in every moment and were very present at our wedding. David is a musician and surprised everyone including me by performing “Piano Man” by Billy Joel and Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker with his brother on stage. Both of our families danced together on stage and it was the perfect way to end the night!
This gorgeous Santa Fe wedding still has us swooning over the lush floral chuppah! Since we’re under the floral spell, check out this flower-filled elopement with pink peonies.
