Romantic Santorini Elopement Dripping with Pink Peonies

Romantic Santorini Elopement Dripping with Pink Peonies

bride and groom kiss

The whitewashed streets of Greece are the perfect backdrop for bold colors and deep romance. This sweet elopement in Santorini has captured our hearts with its tender looks between the bride and groom captured by Elias Kordelakos, along with the fuchsia & pink peonies and roses by Santorini’s Flowers. Stella & Moscha Weddings planned a gorgeous intimate evening as the bride and groom secretly slipped away to get married. You will be swooning over these stunning views and beautiful details in every photo.

From the wedding planner, Stella & Moscha Weddings: We do have a soft spot for elopements. There is nothing more romantic than a couple that have no doubt about where they want to be and who they want to be with. And more importantly, they need nothing and no one else to be happy. Maria and Joe are the personification of this idea. They eloped in Santorini this April, in the few days that Joe, a US marine, could take a small break. So they said nothing to a soul, they packed their bags and came to Greece to declare their love for each other in the most intimate ceremony one can have but against the most breathtaking backdrop on the planet.

The weather was on our side, Maria’s Jenny Yoo NYC dress was a feast for the eyes and the hot pink flowers that arrived at the venue created the perfect setting for a romantic celebration. So, you can imagine that our beloved photographer Elias Kordelakos was over the moon with what was coming through his lens. We simply adore his photos and loved the outcome of the wedding but the greatest reward for us is the big smiles that lit up their faces the entire day we spent with them.

From the photographer, Elias KordelakosSantorini is definitely a place to amaze you, that’s for sure. It’s every photographer’s dream and I’m happy to call it my backyard. With the wonderful couple of Maria and Joe we had the opportunity to visit some of the island’s most famous landmarks but also to explore some parts off the beaten path. Another reason to just love elopements is that the couple is more relaxed and has time to take pictures around the scenic location. Enjoying a destination wedding at its max!
