Santa Barbara Sunset Wedding Inspiration

The lovely sunsets on the west coast are always inspirational and they bring the most brilliant shades of pinks, blues, oranges, and tints of gold peeking out. What I love about this Milton Photography shoot is not only did WINK! Weddings style it to mimic those gorgeous colors, but the photos themselves are bathed in those same hues. Such artistry right there! Speaking of artistry, how beautiful are those blooms from CocoRose Design? Here’s a great tip to keep in mind: one of the best places to infuse color in a wedding (or a shoot!) is through the florals!

From the event designers, WINK! Weddings: When Pantone announced their colors of the year, we knew that while beautiful, they could pose a challenge stylistically for couples. Rose Quartz and Serenity are two colors that have bold, set definitions in the minds of many, and we really wanted to focus on using them in a way that wasn’t so black and white. Varying tones of blushes and blues helped bring this idea to life, along with incorporating the natural elements and textures of our amazing backdrop. We also wanted to showcase the versatility of this pallet, and we did this by offering alternate table top elements but keeping key pieces like centerpieces, tables, and large furniture items the same. Take all these elements, add the golden light, cotton candy skies, and Justine Milton, and you end up with a dreamy styled shoot that will inspire you beyond 2016.
