Fall Can’t Come Soon Enough With This Sand and Clay Wedding Palette
A color combo we’re loving for Fall? Earth tones in sand + clay. Filosophi Events dreamed up of the prettiest fall duo for color AND texture. This sand and clay fall wedding concept captured by Lilly Ann Photography make our hearts sing and soon you’ll be harmonizing with us after you feast your eyes on this modern wedding inspiration!
From the photographer, Lilly Ann Photography: It all started with a little sketch of a floral installation and the desire to create something to support pride and the LGTBQ community. I visualized natural elements and textures with a modern minimalist touch. Something that showed a whole lot of love and a deep connection in an editorial way.
I sent a mood board to Erin of Filosophi Events and without hesitation she said she was in and loved everything it stood for. The next thing I knew she gave life to it all, and an incredible shoot was born.
She managed to create something so incredibly beautiful it had everyone in the room in awe. Blending light and dark, organic and industrial, all with a hint of a fine art touch. She used flat black chargers, offset terracotta plates and a really unique napkin / cutlery setting. Incorporating elements of speckled clay, dried botanicals, and hints of brass, I’ve never seen someone blend so many elements in such a fluid and flawless way. She is truly one talented soul and I knew she was the one for this shoot the moment the mood board came to life but what she created was better then anything I could have imagined.
The floral installation was where the whole shoot blossomed from and the main focal point of the table. I knew from the beginning I wanted The Celsia team to execute it because their installs just drip modern artistic form. In my eyes they’re floral geniuses and I couldn’t have any one else for this. The Filosophi and Celsia team came together to create a hanging asymmetrical installation that intertwined fluffy textured clouds of awesome and copper basket woven lamp shades. It was a pure piece of art.
From the Planner Erin Bishop from Filosophi Events: One of the best parts of being a planner and designer is to take opportunities to show and inspire couples with something a little different than the everyday, so we knew we wanted to steer away from the greenery dominant look which is very prevalent, but still create an organic feel. Using bleached florals, terra cotta, neutral tones and more architectural statement botanical pieces, the sand and clay wedding shoot came together beautifully! This look is curated and minimal but still makes a statement, and can work across a variety of venue types. It was so much fun to pull together the various textures and tones and we love how it came off!
Don’t you just love how these industrial and organic wedding elements to seamlessly flow together? Yea, same here! Checkout this modern farmhouse wedding with organic details!
