Sail Away With Me Inspiration with Ginger Creative
Maybe it’s because I grew up by the water, but I never tire of seeing a beach wedding done right. White Willow Photography, a new leaf floral design, and Ginger Creative put together this beautiful styled shoot set on the shores of Lake Okanagan in British Columbia, and it serves as a fantastic reminder as to why the beach will always be a romantic destination.
From the stationery designer, Carrie of Ginger Creative: “Let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.” The inspiration for this shoot came from the soft tones and romance of the sea. Set on an amazing sailboat, on the shores of Lake Okanagan White Willow Photography captured the intimacy of the bride and groom. In a heart stopping dress from Bliss Bridal, the bride had her look completed by Jenny McKinney Makeup Artist.
A stunning head table made on a vintage washed up door was created in the soft romantic color pallet by Vintage Origami. Set with teal colored service, vintage silverware and enhanced with seashells, driftwood and greenery, the amazing florals from a new leaf floral design set the tone of the table. The cake from Sweet on you Cups and Cakes was a hand painted teal ombre topped with white coral and surrounded with sea glass. Invitations and day of stationery from Ginger Creative used soft typography and were printed on textured paper with torn edges.
Oooh adore the shoot and the opening quotes – love indeed is a shifting sand of emotion………
Nice mermaid style wedding gown you got there. I like the flowing effect of the gown. Refreshing. Seaside pictorial is indeed beautiful! However, I noticed that the bouquet is not that appealing. It’s not lively. Having pink or blue as bouquet color would have been nicer. Wedding production is cool since you have incorporated the use of boat.
