Russian Swan Princess Bridal Inspiration
Never ever have I wanted to live in a photo shoot so badly as I do with this one from Zhenya Savina, Mrs. Maxim Wed Bureau, and Flowers Lovers. This creative team of Eastern European wedding vendors styled an elegant bridal scene inspired by the beautiful Russian Swan Princess, and the ethereal images simply take our breath away. Take a peek:
From the photographer, Zhenya Savina: The main inspiration for the shoot came from a famous Russian princess called Tsarevna Lebed’ (The Swan Princess). It is a traditional image of a Russian woman which was depicted in different kinds of art. For example, there is a 1900 world-known painting by Russian artist Mikhail Vrubel, based on the opera The Tale of Tsar Sultan by Rimsky-Korsakov (which was based on the fairy tale of the same name by Pushkin). Recognisable head pieces alongside the delicate dress decorated with small details create genuine look of Tsaverna Lebed’. In addition, she also was supposed to be a symbol of connection with nature so the shoot reveals this part of the legend as well.
