Vintage Bohemian Wedding Ideas
Yummy fruit tarts, boho beauties, and a moody fall color palette — those are just a few of the treats you’ll find in this inspiration shoot from dreamed up by Finishing Touch Event Design and shot by Melissa McCrotty. Most of all, we’re obsessing over the mix of brass and bold hues.
From the event designer, Jessica: I recently had the immense pleasure of designing an inspirational shoot in a fabulous bohemian style. Some of the vintage focal pieces include the absolutely amazing statement jewelry from the 1910s through the 1960s and a mixture of copper and cobalt blue glass centerpiece containers from antique malls throughout the state.
There are a few DIY elements in the shoot, including paper pinwheels we used to accessorize the chairs, but which can also be used as napkin decor, etc. Another DIY project was the ribbon curtain that can be used as a ceremony backdrop or added element for your head table or cake table to create a beautiful focal point.
Some of the best vendors in the state contributed to the shoot, including design & styling by Finishing Touch, flowers by Tanarah, jewelry from Mae’s Heirlooms, paper products from Molly’s Paperie, organic desserts from Beland Manor, and Photography by Melissa McCrotty.

Warm and comfortable, but super romantic, too! I just love the colors in this shoot. And the dress is to die for!
I love the wedding stationary!!! So pretty
Shannon – Thank you! The copper & cobalt color scheme was fabulous and unique for fall.
Tamara – The gorgeous letterpress stationary is from Molly’s Paperie in Little Rock.
Fabulous Design. Love the unique color scheme, the wildness of the bouquet as it mimics the model’s hair. The setting and the set are perfect. The tent vignette was such a sweet yet intimate shot. Love it all!
Great job, as always, Jessica. This session was a blast to shoot!
Wonderful shots!!Love the fabulous bohemian style pics!! Super job!!:D
I LOVE this wedding shoot!!! The dress is amazing! Thanks for this post!
I love these deep colors and eastern touches in the vases and paper details.
Love the shoot! Do you have anymore info about the dress? I looked at Danielle’s bridal’s we page but couldn’t find it – love it! Thanks.
I was also wondering about the dress and lace jacket. I love it and it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. Any help would be great.
