Oregon Forest DIY Wedding

Wedding Wednesday indeed. As we wave hello to the weekend ahead of us, this midweek giddiness also means we’re only halfway through sharing the weddings I have lined up this week! Jessica Hill Photography shot a woodsy wedding full of whimsy in Oregon. I’m convinced this is the it state for magical backdrops, but you tell me. Isn’t it gorg? View more.

Woodsy, whimsical and oh so lovely, Annie and Evan’s wedding was a dream in the Oxbow Park. With the talented help from Rachelle and her crew at Champagne Events the ceremony and reception was a wonderful compliment to a perfect love. The sweet woodsy details were all DIY with love, including the vintage kerchief flags, framed water-colored table decorations with lovely flower arrangements from Swan Island Dahlias & Dancing Moon Farms. Phresh Organics created a yummy southern-inspired menu.

Enjoying pretty much everything outdoors, Annie and Evan wanted to create a theme inspired by “old timey” things and the Disney movie Bambi; producing a magical meal in the woods for their friends and family. Using an array of pastel colors, coral pink, golden yellow, and teal green, helped to create their dream vintage wedding. Music and entertainment filled their reception with their favorite folk and banjo cover songs. Annie and Evan danced their first song together as husband and wife to Otis Redding “You Send Me”.
