Modern Bohemian Washington Wedding
Today’s wedding, sent over by Kirk of Mastin Studio, is something straight out of a dream. Bride Stacey wanted not only a wedding day, but a weekend wedding celebration to remember — and it looks like she definitely got it! Prepare to fall in love with Stacey and Teal’s vow exchange by the water, the bride’s Leanne Marshall gown, and some of the most incredible floral arrangements bought from Skyline Flowers and arranged by the family!
From the bride, Stacey: Our wedding was a weekend celebration that kicked off Friday evening with a huge Filipino dinner, orca whale pinata, an epic game of capture the flag and then s’mores by the campfire. We had the ceremony Saturday afternoon on the beach at the water’s edge and dinner in the open air. We were told that we had the first wedding that didn’t use a tent!
Our color scheme was tonal reds with touches of blue. I used colourlovers.com to come us with a color palette that I called Red by the Sea. We had lots and lots of DIY projects, I’ve always been a maker of things! Our wedding was the loveliest excuse to make many things: cloth napkins, made from collected vintage fabrics; tassels as escort cards; table name signs; lemonade stand; flags placed around property; directional signs; flower girl dresses; “how long have you know us” cocktail hour game.
Any advice for brides planning their weddings now? Have the wedding that you and your fiance want to have. Decide what exactly is important to the both of you and prioritize.

Wedding Music:
My husband composed almost all of the music for the ceremony. For every anniversary and birthday he writes and records a song for me. With help from one of our friends he arranged a few of our favorite songs for the ceremony. Teal assembled a quartet of musicians for the ceremony.
