Johnny Cash Inspired Wedding
I am not kidding when I say that Jesi Haack Design crafts the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever seen. Pair her talents with equally amazing vendors such as John Robert Woods Photographer and Crafthouse Productions, this Johnny Cash inspired wedding sweeps me off my feet. I highly recommend viewing the entire gallery. It’s that good.
Instead of petal or rice toss, they had guitar picks! Guitar picks, people!
At the entrance of their ceremony setting, Jesi placed two guitar cases and two amplifiers, one on each side of the aisle.
They used a guitar for guests to sign on, with a faux vinyl record cover using one of their engagement photos.
Jesi Haack made their escort cards with harmonicas and guests received posters as wedding favors.
The groom Zak sang to his bride to propose, so it was only fitting that he would sing during the ceremony as well.

The details are amazing! Very nice work everyone!
Wow. This wedding is so great because 1) it’s unique and 2) it completely shows off the couples’ personalities. I love the idea to sign a guitar–and harmonicas as favors/seating cards? Awesome!
love the music theme throughout! so amazing!
I had a guitar guest book with engagement pics in the strings at my wedding as well (great minds think alike) and it looks AMAZING! I suggest every musical couple who wants a musical themed wedding to do it!
aw i wish this was my wedding! 🙂 my what talented folks!!
Jesi-
Where did you get your ‘Love’s been good to me’ banner?! I’ve been looking for letters like that 🙂 Beautiful wedding!
What a beautiful, beautiful wedding! I love Jesi Haack and I hope I get to work with her someday! I really would have loved to heard from the couple as to what inspired them to have a Cash inspired wedding to begin with. I see the groom is musically inclined- I want to hear more about that! It’s a real wedding, I want to hear about the real details please!
My favorite shot is the bridesmaids feet in one direction and the brides in the other. super visually interesting with the consistency in white dresses up top and the solid reds in the back (heels) and then the brides black and white up front. Excellent JR Woods!
I also love that all of the bridesmaids wore white/cream! It looks fresh and clean. I just love it. it’s a good look and suited all of them. They all wore good dresses that fit their body. Wonderful! The bride’s necklace is AWESOME too, I want that! (Where would I wear it though? Micky D’s? lol Where do I go that’s fitting? No where, but surely, I MUST have it!) Source on that?
Congratulations to the happy couple!! I hope you have a love like Johnny & June! 🙂
Oh wait I see it! Stella and Dot! Stella and Dot on the necklace too? I’ll look it up! Thanks for including it! (It’s not usually included, I should have looked first!)
This wedding is just too cool! Loving the mini harmonicas:-)
This was such a beautiful wedding! I absolutely loved all of the details, the brides shoes, the music on the cake, the guitar picks, and the harmonicas as escort cards!! So brilliant.
This was such a beautiful wedding!! I loved all of the details. The brides shoes, the music notes on the cake, the harmonicas as escort cards, the guitar as a “guest book”, and the guitar pick as the groom’s bout. All so perfect. Just brilliant!!!
Those shoes! I love all the details. The cake is fabulous, and having their guests sign a guitar is so unique.
Pure awesomeness! Love Stella and Dot too <3
Oh those shoes! Such amazing and personal details!
Beautiful! Wondering where the bride’s dress is from?
Also the bridesmaids’ shoes!
Simply beautiful
That Stella and Dot necklace is so hot! And those shoes were made for dancin’. Good times had by all!
LOVE THIS but I need to know where she got the shoes because they are adorable!
Love everything about it!
I love the Johnny Cash Inspired wedding! I would love to make some of my huge paper flowers from sheet music for a wedding like this one! Every detail was perfect!
Awesome photography. I would never have thought of a Johnny Cash themed wedding. I love it.
oh to have a love like Johnny Cash had for her…(love that song)
This wedding was so original and fun. Adore the photo with the shoes, just amazing! The album-like photographs were amazing.
Awesome theme! I love the harmonicas!
This is beautiful. I love your photography so much. I get giddy when I see another update!
I have to ask…. where did the bride get those shoes? I scanned the credit section but didn’t see anything for the shoes. If you could find out that would be awesome of you. I just have to own a pair! 🙂
Thank you so much for the feature of my wedding!! It’s so fun to hear all of the wonderful comments from everyone, we certainly had a “Dream Team” of vendors and it really made the day that much more special. And to help answer some questions, the shoes were from DSW and by Madden Girl, style called Sursey. The dress is from The White Dress in Corona Del Mar by the Vineyard Collection… it was a sample in perfect condition and I got it for 50% off! Also the stationary was done by Tara over at Smitten Stationary. Thank you again, its an honor to be on here!
