Flower and Herb Wedding Ideas
We couldn’t talk about Spring without thinking of growing a garden, so this flower & herb setting that Kim Fisher Designs created for us is just perfect timing with the new season. We love that the inspiration is not just limited to the decor, but it carries on to the taste buds as well. We can only imagine the yummy aroma from these images taken by Theo Milo Photography at the Shelton Herb Farm.
From the event designer, Kim Fisher: For this shoot, we wanted a romantic dinner for two with locally sourced herbs and winter blooming camellias. The menu included sparkling wine, Meyer lemon and herb infused olives, baby portobello mushrooms on rosemary skewers, vegetable Tian (basically a deconstructed ratatouille), herb roasted Cornish hens with garlic and sprouts, finished with blue cheese/fig compote and a chocolate ganache topped with raspberries surrounded by a bed of rosemary.
We fashioned a boutonniere of fragrant thyme, basil, and rosemary with nasturtium greens, and the head wreath is rosemary and winter blooming camellias. The centerpiece florals are several different kinds of thyme and sage along with rosemary and camellias and the glass cloches have beautiful winter blooming moss and herbs. We included wedding favors – small tubes of wisteria seeds (gathered from our yard) with some moss and the tags are simply left over brown paper with my squiggly hand writing, which I also used for menus.

I absolutely love wild flowers, especially combined with bright pops like we see here. Beautiful, thanks for sharing!
