Carmel Valley Ranch Wedding Ideas
If you’ve ever had a soft spot for cowboys, this shoot from Orbie Pullen Photography and Christine Cater will be right up your alley. Blush pinks and flirty purples play the perfect contrast against the masculine cowboy undercurrent, resulting in a mix of hard and soft that we’re just wild about.
From the designer, Christine Cater: A romantic ranch set in the hills of the Monterey Peninsula inspired this photo shoot. The couple to marry here will truly have a one of a kind experience. With it being a working cattle ranch, and about 60 pastured head of cattle roaming free. If you see true love, it’s there. One half of the gorgeous couple posing is Jana, a shining star cowgirl who recently won a branding competition. Justin is a true cowboy in flesh and heart. Sit back and drink up the California glamor and charm.
The bride’s gown was chosen because of the ombre peach underlay and intricate beadwork. The ruffled pleated tulle lends to a country chic style. Our groom, what can we say — “handsome country charm” — he is the real deal! Justin wore wranglers, a black jacket, hat, boots, and a prized trophy buckle. The crisp white cotton shirt finished his polished threads.
The antique green cake table perched chocolate, coconut, and red velvet cakes. Yummy raspberry ranunculus, and garden roses looked good enough to eat. A French cotton towel lined drawer was filled with strawberry and chocolate meringues. Chocolate frosted cream puffs filled a glass jar. Huge paper flowers hung in a heart shape adding a DIY touch along with exquisite paper wrapped books. Lupine covered fields were the inspiration for the ceremony site. The 100-year-old oak tree was the stage for a glass ball strand altar. Each guest can find a comfy seat on the taupe tufted benches.
