Black and White Wedding Inspiration

Over the past few years, the bow tie has become a chameleon of sorts — it fits in equally at the most formal of black tie events and the casual backyard wedding party. Piggybacking onto the success of the bow tie, Habitually Haute Events and Sarah McKenzie Photography got together for this styled shoot which adds whimsical bow tie accents to a modern styling aesthetic. From the stylist, Jeneba of Habitually Haute Events: The inspiration behind our shoot was Modern Romance. We wanted to create a Romantic wedding atmosphere with a modern twist. The paper floral wall played a huge part in our style. The wall was the center of attention, the eye catcher in the romantic sense. It bring the romance out of our table set up and our portrait moments. The way we included the modern twist was by using a large amount of black + white, and the structural shapes in the table chairs.
