Romantic Wedding Shoot Turned Proposal
When we receive a beautiful shoot like this one from Courtney Leigh Photography, we know we’re already in for a treat. In this editorial, Chalie and Andrew were surrounded by lush, woodsy elements that were enhanced through Blush and Vine‘s lovely bouquets and floral arrangements, along with the dreamy tablescape by Jade Magnolia. As we dove more into it, we found out that this wedding inspiration turned into an epic marriage proposal caught on film and we got even more giddy than we already were. There’s no better way to end a shoot like this one!
From the photographer, Courtney Leigh Photography: This beautiful wedding inspiration shoot was inspired by earthy elements, neutral tones and pops of gold and dusty blue. The best part? This styled shoot romantically turned into a real life proposal for the sweet couple, Chalie and Andrew. It was such a memorable moment to capture and the moments following the proposal are my absolute favorite images from the shoot. This one definitely goes down as an all time favorite of mine throughout my photography career and so many talented teams helped bring my vision to life.
I’m truly loving the trend of bridal separates this year, I love that added edge it provides and I knew Alexandra Grecco‘s pieces would be the perfect attire for our model bride. We went with a beautiful soft, natural glow with her hair and makeup, professionally done by the Hey Lovely makeup team. The talented Jade Magnolia did an incredible job styling the table setting to perfection, I just love the way the pop of gold flatware really brings vibrance to the images. Blush and Vine created the most gorgeous, organic bouquet to add beautiful pops of color and a lovely centerpiece for added color to the table. We used a custom faux white brick wall, created by A Pretty Perspective, to give a little bit of versatility to the images and really make the table and amazing four tiered caked, created by Buttercup Houston, stand out.
We chose a private residence in Montgomery, TX for the location of this shoot, after finding out just days before the shoot that Andrew was actually planning to propose, I knew it needed to be a secluded location where he would feel comfortable make this dream a reality! I just adore this sweet couple and it was an honor to capture such a special time in their lives!
