Dusty Pastels with a Tropical Touch Wedding Fashion Inspiration at Graylyn Estate
It’s not often we’re left speechless, but this chic, romantic wedding fashion inspiration featuring our fave picks from Maggie Sottero has captivated us entirely with a gallery that does all the talking. Femme pastels are juxtaposed with vibrant pops of teal. Classic and elegant details are embellished with hints of modern tropics. And pattern is overflowing in every frame. North Carolina based photographer, Lindley Battle Photography, is the master behind these visual heirlooms, conceptualized by the ever so innovative Marla Lawson Events. With such textural design details as sun palm fans, waxy anthurium, dyed silver leaf fern and pale snowberries, Grace and Greenery brought the florals to life in the most compelling narrative.
If ever a groom looked more dapper than this debonaire gent in his tailored Stitch and Tie tux, we’d be surprised. This paisley tuxedo style with an ivory gold shawl lapel coat offers a handsome twist on a classic, and we’re hoping more and more grooms embrace the patterned groomswear style trend that’s taking over the internet.
Graylyn Estate is a historic venue in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where natural beauty meets inspired interiors, and we can’t imagine a more idyllic space to host these modern romantic wedding concepts with chic, romantic wedding fashion and trendy dried blooms.
The dreamiest bridal gowns from Maggie Sottero were on display in this storybook stone manor setting. From a shimmery off-the-shoulder mermaid wedding dress with sequin tulle to a ruched sheer organza lined bodice and glitter tulle skirt, these trendy spins on classic silhouettes are quite the delight for modern romantics, if we do say so ourselves.
Look Love Beauty gave each of these gals their own Cinderella moment, with sophisticated, glamorous hair + makeup styles that suited each of them exquisitely. Seriously. All hail flower petal hair adornments!
Take the Taylor gown from the Maggie Sottero collection for example. This beaded dream on the far right boasts a sensual deep v-neck and illusion v-back, turning up the heat on a classic sparkling ballgown style.
The most scrumptious looking cake award goes to…. Artsy Cakesy! Because this terrazo confection with frosted shards, rippled buttercream, gold foil edging and tropical bloom embellishments is as good as it gets.
The Remy gown from the Rebecca Ingram collection (pictured above) is as divine as it gets, with a strapless ballgown silhouette and the prettiest bodice detailing along the ribbed corset that flatters in all the right ways. We’d run up and down the stairs all day, just to watch the train sweep across each step!
We’re living for the lace motif bodice in the sweeping, almost bohemian Olson gown from the Sottero and Midgley collection as seen above.
Ink Sugar Co dreamed up the most alluring invitation suites with deckle edge paper, handwritten calligraphy, vintage postage, vellum art cards and gossamer ribbon to boot. All of our favorite things indeed!
Bishop sleeves have been a major wedding fashion trend to watch in recent months. And the Joanne gown from the Rebecca Ingram collection (pictured above), with its magnificently beaded cuffs, is the perfect example of why we love this vintage inspired style so much! (An added fun surprise of this gown is that the sleeves are detachable!)
Can you blame us for doing a triple take every time we glimpse this embroidered mermaid gown with a detachable lace + sequin cape doubling as off-the-shoulder sleeves? Conrad from the Sottero and Midgley collection, you’re #betterthanpockets. Mmhmm. We went there.
Custom handmade organic engagement rings from Melissa Tyson Designs were stars in their own right, but styled to perfection in these eye-catching flatlays, we can’t help but want to bookmark every single one!
You won’t find us straying from this chic, romantic wedding fashion inspiration in a European estate setting anytime soon. It’s filled with too much eye candy!
