From the bride, Larissa: Matheus asked me to marry him on a cold night in Paris, in front of the Eiffel Tower. The most beautiful and romantic proposal that I could have imagined. He had planned it for months, and was super nervous. But it was perfect, the Tower was full of lights, and we were with very special friends who witnessed everything.
Our wedding was on a farm. We love nature, so it was certain that we would get married in the daytime and in a place with lots of green and flowers. We are a very romantic couple, so when we found Fazenda 7 Lagoas we felt in love with it’s all white structure and romantic lakes, a beautiful and elegant farm perfect for our classic and romantic wedding.
We choose to have warm and romantic tones in our color palette, such as light pink, champagne, green and white. To everyone’s surprise, Matheus was the one who chose the color palette, lol.
We DIY our wedding invitation and all the wedding stationery. We only outsourced the printing with Invitt Invitations. It was a detail that really showed our personality, and we could show our love and care to every guest by tying each one of the ribbon bows.
We are very religious persons, so for sure God was our guest of honor. He brought our lives together and took care of us throughout all those years. That’s why we started the ceremony and the day with a beautiful worship song saying that He was very welcome in that place, and we also had two children entering the ceremony with a sign written “Jesus, our guest of honor”.
For me, Larissa, the most special part of the wedding were just before the ceremony, when I was with my mother, all my bridesmaids and my mother-in-law in the bride’s cottage and my pastor Raquel went there to say a prayer for me. They all stood around me and blessed me. Unforgettable! For Matheus, the bride’s entrance was the most special moment. The tip that I give, and that made all the difference in our wedding is: Trust in God! Marriage and family are His dream and project, so relax and see how everything will flow to make this day beautiful and unforgettable! Hire vendors that you identify and trust. Plan and research a lot, talk to other brides! And… have a dedicated wedding planner, it makes all the difference!
Gosh, we just love all of this floral inspiration, and can’t get enough! Who’s with us? This juicy floral inspiration will keep the good times rollin’.
