Coral & Coconuts Wedding Inspiration

peachy wedding reception tablescape with tropical greens textured floral decor

Life is the bubbles under the sea, and we are loving every detail of this tropical wedding inspiration shoot! With peachy and coral pinks, and the liveness of the tropical greens, these gorgeous photos by Jamie Vinson Photography are both romantic and FUN! There are hints of coral all throughout this styled shoot, and can even be found in the catering presentation by HL Catering. We love that this theme is stunning (obvi), and subtly hints towards not only the color of coral, but also the living coral. These North Carolina wedding vendors have truly outdone themselves with each beautiful detail!

Peachy color palette wedding invitations

From the planner, Lauren with the Lion HouseCombining a tasteful tropical vibe with a romantic, fine art aesthetic, and keeping in mind the venue’s crisp clean space, Junction West makes for the perfect backdrop for this beautiful shoot. The colors inspired by both the Pantone color of the year, living coral, and the soft ivory of coconut. In addition, we tie in island tropics green, peachy pink and rose taupe to soften the palette. Natural elements are incorporated such as wood, paper, dried coral fans, and silks.

Thinking outside the box, Lion House wanted to incorporate the color Living Coral as well as the literal/physical take on coral by using dried coral fans for styling and to create a beautiful unique hair piece!

This shoot also features a show-stopping floral installation (ceremony & head table repurpose – yes please!) & lush bouquet filled with fresh and dried blooms. Also, bride tip: if you like the texture of a floral, but want a different color, don’t be afraid to ask! Our florist painted some of the Anthurium a perfect shade of coral to match and tied it into the natural flowers to keep things fresh!

Other key elements include a romantic laser cut invitation suite. We set the custom escort cards to be displayed in matching sand as an elevated tie into the tropic vibe. Each guests’ name was handwritten and accompanied by a hand carved flower by the incredible team at Emily Baird Designs.
