Rock ‘n Roll Festival Inspired Wedding

The theme for this wedding from Tiffany Arment is one of my absolute favorites — “rock n roll festival.” With a wedding playlist to envy and reception tables marked by vinyl albums from rock music history, this day is filled with details perfectly tailored to the couple.

From the bride, Jacki: We just wanted a wonderfully laid back, HAPPY day filled with our friends, family, natural rustic surroundings, great music, yummy food and a whole lotta LOVE. With my creative friends and family, I knew that the rest of it would come together beautifully.

The theme was ‘Rock ‘n Roll Festival’. We both love music so much — it is a huge part of our lives, and we really wanted our wedding to reflect that. Every song was hand-picked for each part of the day to create a specific nostalgic and happy feeling.

We were getting married in a barn. I didn’t want to fight its natural beauty, so we went with a natural color scheme — cream, tan, brown, green and blue. Practically the whole wedding was DIY. I designed and made my own invitations, favors (jam jars and CDs), name cards and programs, the table ‘numbers’ came from our own vinyl collection, my Dad made our rings, one of my best friends made my gown, my best friend and maid of honor (who introduced us) got ordained to marry us and wrote our ceremony… it was truly a group effort!

Any advice for brides planning their weddings now? Take it easy and have fun with it! Remember that it’s the marriage that matters most… this is just one day out of the rest of your married life. Things are going to go wrong, and other unexpected things are going to go sooooooooo right that they make up for it! Stop worrying so much because you can’t control it all! In the end, it is going to be the most wonderful day of your life… you got to MARRY him! How lucky are YOU?

  • EXCELLENT playlist. I love how the theme is “rock and roll festival”, but the photographs and the dress are so soft and romantic. It creates a lovely contrast. The “backstage passes” are an excellent touch, too!

  • Take it from someone who attended…it was amazingly perfect! I only hope that the groom’s brother and I have nearly as an amazing ceremony/reception! Love you both!

  • I’m not sure what aspect of this wedding is my favorite! The photography, the flowers, the signed guitars, the wooden chairs – I love it all! What a beautiful day!

  • Nice weblog right here! Also your web site rather a lot up fast! What host are you the use of? Can I get your associate hyperlink in your host? I wish my web site loaded up as quickly as yours lol

  • I am in love with this wedding and those invites are specifically what I’m trying to design for my own! I was hoping to be able to be linked to a template but I can see they were designed by the bride (great minds!) so it’s back to the drawing board for me!
