Riverside Bohemian Wedding Shoot
What I love most about this shoot from Colagrossi Studio is how it feels like the most relaxed of picnics with a lovingly bohemian ceremony added in. Does it get much better than the floral arrangements and wreaths from Orchid and Willow?
From the photographer, Destany of Colagrossi Studio: The Midwest is a beautiful place, but brides in our area always tend toward a “rustic” or “country” approach because it is all they see. We attempted to showcase the laid-back beauty of the midwest, but with a beautiful, colorful, bohemian approach. If there is one thing Indiana has, its rivers and resources.
Nearly everything from this shoot was thrifted, vintage, or borrowed and it all took place at a commonly used city park. Most of the glassware was all hand-me-downs from previous generations, the dress came from a local vintage clothing store, and the antlers came from a local hunter. The focal point of this shoot was our talented floral designer, Karmen, of Orchid and Willow Contemporary Floral Design. With a modest floral budget and some creative thrifting or “picking” any bride can have the laid-back day of their dreams.
