Rich Southern Jewels Wedding Inspiration
We’re not kidding when we say this one is a gem – even the bride and groom look like living jewels! With flashes of copper amidst the ornamental tablescape and dessert station designed by eMBee event design, the ruby, emerald and sapphire palette becomes utterly symphonic. It’s hard to miss the creative blend of transitioning lines from the sharp color-blocked frames in the paper goods to the soft velvet overlay of the head table to the wavy strokes that create a marbling effect across the cake. Lindsey LaRue Photography even captures the flower-filled terrariums from Wildflower Fare. All in all, this shoot is sublime to the core – told you we weren’t kidding!
From the event designer, eMBee event design: Imagine that a “thirty-something,” professional couple decides to host a luxurious destination wedding for 30 of their closest friends and family. The guests arrive on Friday evening at Foxhall and are greeted by personalized baskets in their resort villas. Immediately, they notice that the bride and groom have thought of everything, pouring their creativity into special touches that reflect the feeling of their romance: passionate but relaxed, timeless but oh-so-modern, incredibly elegant but undeniably wild. The wedding they host on Saturday evening, just as the sun begins to set, is perfectly sophisticated, but also non-traditional. There are touches that honor the classic wedding ideals, but this couple pushes the envelope beyond the “airy” theme often associated with weddings. The style and the palette are rich, deep, detailed, and structured.
