Rhode Island Winter Wedding Ideas

Today’s styled wedding shoot is sure to play into your romantic side, from the lush floral design to the horse-drawn carriage. Isa Images Photography Studio, Sweet Deets Events, and The Local Bouquet gathered to create a wedding using local resources and dashes of deep blues and winter greens, showing just how cozy a winter wedding can be.

From the photographer, Alyssa of Isa Images Photography Studio: This winter shoot at Boland’s Tree Farm in rural Rhode Island was all about inspiring brides to see the charm of going back to basics. Utilizing local resources and vendors, we wanted to create something cozy and homey. Staying true to the season, our palette consisted of shades of blues and and winter greens, both on the table and surrounding. Warm brass and gold metals with greens over antique wood with tiny hints of sparkle brought a warmth to the table. Our couple was escorted to their venue by a horse drawn, timeless carriage that added a special touch of genuine country wedding to the scene.

We incorporated a fun DIY cocoa bar complete with mugs and yummy mix-ins like marshmallows, crushed mints and cinnamon. Using warm vintage and up-cycled accessories the couple seems comfortable and relaxed during their winter wedding. Our unique location on a local tree farm added to the homespun feeling we were going for. We all have a common belief that buying local is better for the environment but also benefits local farmers and families, all of which are a vital and wonderful part of Southern Rhode Island!
