Poppy Pastels in this Seemingly French Garden Wedding Inspiration
Boy, do we have some feelings about today’s hidden garden wedding inspiration. You just may mistake this Santa Ynez estate for a villa in the South of France, and we wouldn’t blame you! Modern wedding fashion joins rich textures and poppy pastels in a collection of scenes we’ll have on imagination repeat for years.
If an image says 1000 words, then this gallery from Greg Finck could be a best-selling novel. Our hearts beat faster with every frame, and we know yours will too!
We don’t wanna be dramatic, but the styling from Brooke Keegan is kind of a big deal. Everything from the vibrant color palette to the velvet tablescape along the sycamore allé tells a unique story!
From the photographer, Greg Finck: As a photographer, I am madly in love with the Santa Ynez Valley, in Southern California. This is the background we chose for this wedding editorial with a dream team composed of Brooke Keegan, Oak & The Owl and Rime Arodaky. We shot at Kestrel Park, an amazing private estate which just opened a couple years ago. There are so many options and photographic possibilities in this dreamy venue.
Okay but can we take a moment to appreciate this sexy swoop back from Rime Arodaky? Just wait till you see the 2nd dress!
This bouquet stunner from Oak & The Owl can turn our heads forever!
These handpainted escort cards from Studio Luzance are divine, dahlings! Is it just us, or are you getting Dutch flower art vibes too?
We wanted a pop of color in this editorial, and the amazing florals from Nancy of Oak & The Owl always are such a treat for the eye. Britt’s natural beauty (our model) was enhanced by the great hair and makeup from Heidi of Hair & Makeup Girl and the edgy, though elegant dresses by Rime Arodaky. We started with a portrait session, followed by a ceremony, before ending the day with an amazing sunset in the wild flowers surrounding the property. I truly heart this editorial photoshoot as we wanted to be intentional on many different aspects: popping colors vs. the pastel look that tends to be overseen in the wedding landscapes, sexy though elegant dresses and bride bringing a very modern touch. I think everything just matched perfectly and fitted in this amazing background that is the Santa Ynez Valley.
