Pink Peony Wedding Dreams At Great Marsh Estate
This is a safe space, right? So we can confess our undying love for pink peony wedding designs without shame? I’m going to assume the answer is yes, especially since we have a star-studded gallery from Kir Tuben to share with you today! Jen & Matt’s rainy day wedding at Great Marsh Estate boasted lots of rosy cheeks, light-hearted twirls and Virginia garden designs that (you guessed it!) incorporate plenty of bold peonies from LeRoy French Flowers. I don’t know if it’s the way he looks at her or the way she emulates a real life princess, but there is just something about this historic estate minimony with Terry Kaye Events at the helm that has us shedding happy tears left and right. Ready to see what we mean?
From the Photographer, Kir Tuben: Jen and Matt were one of a handful of couples who kept their original wedding date in 2020! I absolutely loved the team they chose for their wedding and was so happy we were able to make this day magical for them! They not only tied the knot during a pandemic, but moved across the country from CA to VA the same year. What a whirlwind! Jen has impeccable style so it’s no surprise that I loved the design of this microwedding. The forecast actually called for 95% chance of rain but we were able to sneak out for some portraits around property and not get poured on. I think these two deserved all the weather luck in the world. They had their ceremony on the manor steps, watched by family in person and friends via Zoom. They shared dances on the porch and an intimate dinner in the living room of the Estate. Here are my favorite images of the fall Great Marsh Estate wedding. I hope they keep this feeling of joy all their lives. Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs.
They say that love is blind, but I’ll be honest, we feel so giddy inside + out that we were able to fall in love with Jen & Matt’s pink peony wedding just from seeing the way they look at each other like nothing else in the world matters. No pandemic stood a chance against their celebration of love, and it’s couples like these that continue to inspire our hopeless romantic hearts.
