Building off the concept of vivid patterns in cheery hues, designer Juli set to work creating a styled shoot that’s dressed to impress and guaranteed to leave you with a smile on your face. New Yorkers take note, because Juli will be moving to the Big Apple shortly and bringing her incredible talents with her!

From the event designer, Juli of Juli Vaughn Designs: It’s easy to find inspiration in landscapes and rolling hills and giant stretches of sky. It’s much harder to find beauty in a concrete jungle. You have to look for it and be grateful for the creeping vines on buildings and the artist that creates a mural for the enjoyment of people he or she will never meet. Genya of Vue Photography first approached me about wanting to highlight the vibrancy found in Atlanta’s Living Walls. She wanted to celebrate the color and life of the street art we walk by every day. As I am currently expanding my business and moving to New York City, I jumped at the idea to showcase the beauty found not only in the architecture of a skyline but also in the way nature softens its edges and “colors outside the lines” of that architecture.
