Nordic Beach Wedding Inspiration
Now that it’s starting to get warmed, we’re even more excited to see some seriously pretty beach wedding inspiration. This shoot from Simply Sweet Photography by Nomo Akisawa and Niche Event Stylists uses a color palette of icy blues and soft pinks (perfect for Pantone’s Color of the Year combination) paired with a flowy tulle gown for a look that’s delicate and romantic in all the right places.
From the photographer, Simply Sweet Photography by Nomo Akisawa: Our inspiration for this creative shoot was inspired by a combination of the show the Vikings and our beautiful terrariums that we implemented into our decor. We filmed this shoot on a very cold January afternoon on a beautiful beach overlooking the ocean. Our model wore a custom made blue gown and carried a loose romantic bouquet featuring greenery and garden roses. Her hair and makeup were kept very natural and Nordic looking to give us that romantic look we were after.
The tablescape was a long table with gorgeous green garlands with floral accents, pewter deer antlers and candlesticks with a collage of lanterns and garlands sitting on a reindeer skin. Our chairs and bench gave our tablescape a relaxing romantic look. Our custom stationery featured our pantone colors of the year “Rose Quartz and Serenity plus if you look closely, we have included our terrarium shape to make interesting heart designs in the background of the invitations, menus and place cards. You can’t forget our vignette for our celebratory wedding beverage that included a pewter tray with Aquavit and glassware. This shoot reflects the beautiful Nordic feeling that we were after in this shoot.
