Elegant, ethereal, and with a muted color palette is how this styled shoot from The Lockharts, Dixie Does Vintage, and Lizzie Bee’s Flower Shoppe came to us — and we loved it at first blush. The entire scene is a lesson in fresh takes on barn weddings, blending rustic touches with modern romantic femininity.

From the photographers, The Lockharts: We knew we wanted to create something elegant and ethereal that incorporated touches of Greece for this session. Hence, the colors were muted and simple, with a touch of gold. Dixie Does Vintage created the perfect reception and ceremony setup by including the soft white linen, floral china, and gold accents. The reception and ceremony were both breathtaking in their simplicity and details. Lizzie Bee’s Flower Shoppe never seems to disappoint and brought the session to life with the white and soft colored roses, ranunculus, and dahlias. The floral arrangements in this session shows that limited colors in floral arrangements can still be ever so stunning. Adding to this, the stationery provided by Sarah Ann Design brought us back to Grecian times and made the session’s theme come together. The paper, calligraphy, and design of the stationary were so beautifully handcrafted. Likewise, HoneyLove Cakery’s cake, which included gold painting, lace details, and a beautiful handmade flower, was absolutely stunning.

While all the details in this session make our heart skip, the venue really brought everything together. The White Sparrow Barn is a beautiful barn, with white walls, and high ceilings and windows that made every detail look light and airy. The simplicity and rustic details of this venue complemented this Grecian wedding scene so well. The Bride’s final look was the cherry on top to this session, and we’ve never seen a bride that fits more with her scenery. The off-white dress and hairpiece by Sophia’s Gowns was elegant and timeless. Gacie’Ella and Shelby put this look together with soft, natural make-up and a romantic up-do. This bride is something to take note of for a bride that is looking for a sophisticated graceful wedding look.
